「网页寄存」是香港地区比较常用的词语，相当於台湾常讲的「虚拟主机」，也就是「Web Hosting」，这个Web Hosting是Share的，也就是一台主机提供给多人使用，每个使用者可以分配到一部分的主机资源 ，太操主机会影响全体客户，所以才会有些限制。之前问过香港那边的厂商，我跟他说「虚拟主机」他还以为我指的是「VPS」，用词方面似乎是有一点点小差别。

在最近这一段时间持续在找主机中，前两天看过开家叫「Lunarpages.com」 的工司的评价还不错，有许多人喜欢昵称他叫「LP」，刚好是「Lunarpages」的缩写。他的网站的快速还算快（在美国California），从台湾、在香港或中国大陆连过去的反应都还算OK，就顺便写了信测试客服热线回应的快速并询问CPU/MySQL的施用受到限制，纪录如下所示，给有必须要的人参考。

客服回应速度：昨天晚上寄的今天起床就收到了，应该是6小时内，还算OK。

On a shared servers which is our basic, business and windows plans it is 1% of CPU and RAM per account.

The maximum number of connections is 50 per mySQL user and 1500 per server.

Do not like to suspend accounts, but since we are in the business of hosting and providing our customers with reliable servers and stability this is an unfortunate effect.

You would be notified by our admins if they disabled the offending script. Which will in turn ask for you to correct the issue and then once the resources are optimal we then enable the script.

We also advise any customer or future customer if you need extensive resources to look into our VPS and Dedicated plans that are priced reasonably.

CPU使用率限制只有1％，这样不知道算高还是不高，应该算是很严格吧？不过比较起来，对於超过CPU限额的处置方式来说，HostMonster (Bluehost)的自动暂停3分钟的处理方式还是比较方便（3分钟後自动恢复，超过再暂停3分钟），不会因此整个网站都不能运作，等自己有空时再慢慢搞定也可以。不过，看来每个主机商都希望你买他的VPS或Dedicated主机啊…
